The Bradford Sunday Alliance League are now on their official mid-season break but for some clubs this started a lot earlier than expected due to the wintry conditions.

Only two teams have a 100 per cent record - Division 1A outfit Shipley Hockney and Division 2A‘s Stanningley Albion.

Clubs still to taste defeat in the league are First Division Mill Lane and Division 1B Sandy Lane, plus Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves from Division 2A.

Whitburn Athletic, from Division 3A, are also unbeaten in league matches but have been bettered in various cups.

The leading goal-scorers are Mill Lane, who have found the net on 57 occasions in league matches, and the second highest are Buttershaw Celtic with 51.

On the other hand, Woodman Rovers, Bradford Lions, Great Horton Fire Brigade, Cycling and Springfield United will be hoping that the second half of the season will see them gain their first victory of the campaign.

In Division 1A, Shipley Hockney and Buttershaw Celtic have opened a gap at the top of the table, while in 1B, Sandy Lane are five points clear with matches in hand on the teams challenging them for pole position. Dudley Hill Rangers Reseves and Stanningley Albion have opened a lead at the top of Division 1B, while in Division 2A, Harold Club, four points down on leaders Victoria Celtic, have matches in hand.

Aire Athletic are in pole position in 3B but second- placed Robin Hood are only one point behind with two matches in hand, while the Division Four title race, consisting of new clubs, is wide open, with the top six only been separated by five points.

Second-placed Hare and Hounds do have games in hand on both the team above them and immediately below them.
