The two local derbies in the second round of the West Riding County Cup are set to go ahead tomorrow night at the third time of asking.
Eccleshill United host Thackley and Guiseley are at home to Brighouse Town in ties that have fallen foul of the weather twice in the last fortnight.
Brighouse boss Mark Brier is desperate to finally make the trip to their Nethermoor hosts, who were awarded a home draw with Stalybridge Celtic today following their dramatic FA Trophy first-round victory at Barrow.
He said: “Guiseley had a cracking result on Saturday and that will make this game even harder.
“Because of the recent postponements, I expect Steve (Kittrick) to play a side from his first-team squad because they need game time and I will be doing the same.
“We hope it’s on because we are really looking forward to it. It is the biggest game, in terms of the level of our opponents, in our club’s history.”
Guiseley spokesman Stuart Allen said: “We are not envisaging any problems this time around but, with the forecast, we could be in trouble with Saturday’s game at home to Stafford Rangers in the Blue Square Bet North.”
Also in action in the West Riding County Cup tomorrow night are Liversedge, who have home advantage over Pontefract Collieries, and Farsley, who make the short journey to Harrogate Railway Athletic.
