Guiseley will be looking to consolidate their place in the top six of the Blue Square Bet North on Saturday when they head to Hinckley United.

The Lions, who won 3-1 at Redditch United last weekend, are unbeaten away from home, while Hinckley have won just one of their seven fixtures this term and currently reside in 18th spot.

But boss Steve Kittrick is wary of complacency and said: “Our away form has been good but you get nothing for free in this league.

“You can’t think, ‘we have done well so far’ because it doesn’t work like that.

“I said after the Redditch game that they didn’t look like a team at the bottom of the table. You only get what you work hard for and we have to be focused on the job in hand.”

The Guiseley chief has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal at the moment. But, with his team unbeaten since the opening day of the season and with back-to-back victories in their last two games, the side is picking itself.

Kittrick said: “There are no new injuries, just a few bumps and bruises. The starting line-up did well last Saturday and the substitutes that have come on over the past few games have really shown how good they are.

“I have selection headaches but for all the right reasons. I had seven players warming up with the rest of the lads before the Redditch game who weren’t even in the 16 man squad.

“One of them was Jez Fitzgerald who has been struggling with fitness since coming back from injury. I’m hoping Jez can go out on loan, just for a month, to get some game time under his belt. Then he will be ready to come back and put pressure on the lads who have got the shirts.”
