Brighouse Town 4, Rochdale Town 1
Brighouse Town had an excellent victory in their final pre-season friendly as they put four goals past visiting Rochdale Town.
The only strike of the first half saw the hosts taking a 1-0 lead through Nathan Cartman.
Midfielder Craig Smith netted soon after the break with a quality free-kick, before Cartman added his second.
Darryl Leach finished things off for Brighouse but boss Mark Brier branded his players “lethargic” as they allowed their Lancastrian opponents to bag a late consolation goal.
