Bradford Park Avenue have some injury problems ahead of their pre-season derby clash with neighbours City at Valley Parade tomorrow night but manager Simon Collins is still buoyant.
Former Huddersfield Town midfielder Collins has played at stadiums as big as the Bantams’ but many of his players have not. That is why it is such a huge occasion for the city’s second club.
Collins said: "Our keeper Ben Scott and Rob O’Brien have been out for a week or two with serious injuries and Martin Drury suffered ligament damage at the weekend, so we have three big players out.
"Obviously our priority is the 21st (the start of the Evo-Stik Premier) but we want to put on a performance, for ourselves and our supporters.
"City will be more concerned about Saturday (the start of the nPower League Two) but they will want a good game to help get them ready for it."
