FARSLEY maintained their positive pre-season start with a 2-1 victory over Ossett Town at Throstle Nest.
The new club took the lead when Gareth Grant rounded the visiting keeper and stroked home.
Town equalised through Dave Boardman in the second half but Mark Bett scored within seconds of joining the fray from the bench.
THACKLEY had to come from behind to earn a 3-1 win over visitors Colne, the Lancastrians having started the roses derby well as Sam Hayes opened the scoring.
A clumsy challenge in the area on the half-hour mark saw the referee immediately point to the spot and Luke Hudson netted the resulting penalty.
A Matt Morgan free-kick and a second goal coolly dispatched by Hudson followed in the second half.
GUISELEY were thwarted in their quest for a goal-fest by a combination of woodwork and good defending at Clitheroe.
But while Jamie Walshaw had a second-half strike ruled out for offside, Darryn Stamp pounced in the 72nd minute to give the Lions a 1-0 win.
