Leeds United visit Bury tomorrow night for their third pre-season friendly, having arrived back from their Slovakian tour at the weekend.
Winger Lloyd Sam, defender Jason Crowe and goalkeeper Alan Martin missed the 1-0 victory over MFK Kosice on Friday with minor injuries and manager Simon Grayson will check their fitness before selecting his squad for tomorrow night’s game, which kicks off at 7.45.
Grayson, who has made six signings during the summer – Kasper Schmeichel, Neill Collins, Paul Connolly, Federico Bessone, Lloyd Sam and Friday’s goal-scorer, former City loan striker Billy Paynter – is looking to strengthen his squad further in readiness for the opening Championship game of the season against Derby County at Elland Road on August 7.
A striker and central midfielder are thought to be his priorities.
