Barry Conlon will be back at Valley Parade next season – with Stockport.
The well-travelled former City striker was released by Chesterfield at the end of last season after scoring seven goals in 18 appearances.
Conlon, 31, left the Bantams for Grimsby in March 2009. Paul Simpson’s relegated side will be the 13th different club he has played for.
Meanwhile, ex-City winger Joe Colbeck has been told he is not part of new Oldham boss Paul Dickov’s plans.
