Farsley Celtic have the opportunity to add a fourth reason to celebrate their amazing season tonight when they travel to Blyth Spartans for the Peter Swales Memorial Challenge Shield.
The annual fixture is the UniBond League's equivalent of the Community Shield, pitting the League champions against the Challenge Cup winners.
After lifting the League Cup, Farsley have reached their target of promotion and added the West Riding County Cup to their haul of silverware. "Why not four? We will be going to Blyth tonight with a positive attitude while the pressure, that has been intense over the past six weeks, will be well and truly off," said Celts boss Lee Sinnott.
Former Bradford City apprentice Kevin Sanasy, who has had a major input on the campaign with 18 goals, will be missing and Andy Dugdale is unavailable.
After so many important games in a short time there are obviously injury doubts.
Sinnott said: "Simeon Bam-brook and Martin Pemberton will travel with the squad but they are unlikely to feature in the final 14. Kevin has gone off to Australia but we knew about that and Andy has work commitments.
"The rest of the players are ready to put themselves on the line for the club one more time and are still keen to add another trophy. Everyone is greedy when it comes to winning things.
"I have nothing but admiration for the entire squad. What they have achieved and what support they have been given by the non-playing staff has been nothing short of phenomenal.
"We will go to Blyth, who won the division, and we want to win.
"The players are relaxed after their exploits and they know after this they are over the finishing line and will be able to think about their summer holidays."
