Jamie Langley column

Last week’s win against Wigan was pretty unbelievable. It was definitely a game of two halves and you don’t see many comebacks quite like that.

I think the win at Salford the week before helped out because that was a tight game and it taught us to be patient and grind out the result.

That kind of win has a really positive effect on confidence and we can’t wait to take on Warrington.

The Wolves are one of the top sides in the competition and it’s not hard to see why. They’ve invested a lot in bringing in some very talented players.

But this is the kind of game we relish. We always have real battles against them and it’s another TV game so it’s an exciting prospect.

We won there last year when nobody expected us to and that was one of those games when possession won the day.

Going there, you have to play smart. We can’t get carried away and it’s important to play a tight game because we can’t afford to give anything away.

It was my testimonial launch last Saturday night and I’d just like to thank everyone who turned up for it. I appreciate the support.

Wagga stole the show with a few good stories during the question and answer session and then he took part in an auction for bids to have his hair cut off!

He was only supposed to have a number two but there was so much extra gel in his hair that the scissors came out and it ended up being a 0.5 instead.

He came to terms with it pretty quickly – but then he’s had the past three years to get used to it because he’s been promising to do it for ages.

It’s been a big week for old Wagga after ‘the helicopter’ made an appearance in the post-match celebrations against Wigan. I think he just got a bit over-excited!
