Port Vale keeper Joe Anyon is facing the axe tomorrow night after his nightmare against Northampton.
Anyon gave a wobbly display against the Cobblers and gifted one of their three goals after fluffing a cross to allow Abdul Osman to score from close range.
Now the stopper, who has only recently come back from a year out with a broken leg, could be replaced by 19-year-old Chris Martin.
Boss Micky Adams used all three of his subs at half-time on Saturday and is threatening changes against City.
Rob Taylor could start on the left wing and centre half John McCombe is pushing for a recall in defence. Club captain Tommy Fraser could also feature.
