The 3-0 scoreline flattered Bradford in their victory over White Rose in Group A of the Sonder Centenary Cup.

Bradford had an early penalty saved and did not have things all their own way.

White Rose played the whole of the game with only ten men, having no substitutes, but put up an excellent fight before Burpal Bhambra, on the hour mark, Mathew Knowles and Irfaq Hussain hit the net.

Howden Clough had to find another pitch to play on owing to the Council doing some work on their field at Leeds Road. They went down 2-0 to George Healey, Simon Moore and Jake Spencer scoring for George, with Andy Howard outstanding.

Quarry beat Fairbank 2-1 with Matthew Parkinson scoring both goals. Fairbank had opened the scoring through Naveen Hussain.

Black Horse lost 4-3 against Sporting Armley in Group B. Mathew Pickard netted a brace and Gary Sheen one for Black Horse, with on-song Danny Goulden scoring all four goals for Sporting.

Two goals from Y Rajah was not enough against Savile Town, Hazi and Aron making it 2-2 at half-time before Adda came up with the winner.

Black Bull lost 5-1 to Bosnia, P Costa with Bull’s consolation.

In the Premier Division, Jardys and Ravensthorpe Rangers fought out an entertaining 0-0 draw while, in Division One, Inter Batley beat Wellington 5-3, M Navsarka with a brace.

Norfolk and Marsh drew 3-3. Man of the match Imran Farooq scored two goals, with one from Manny. Marsh’s strikes came courtesy of Andy Shingleton, James Shingleton and Mark Mullins.
