Peter Taylor will urge City’s “willing workers” to put in another big shift at Aldershot tomorrow.
The Bantams clinched back-to-back wins for the first time since September by grinding out victory over Darlington.
It also ended a four-month wait for a success at Valley Parade, setting City up for a run of three away games in the next eight days.
The squad travel south this morning to prepare for the Shots with Taylor impressed with the effort on show.
He said: “The players look a determined bunch to me and I’m very pleased with their attitude. They are willing workers at the minute.
“Once you win a game, then you believe you can win another one and that’s how the boys are feeling now.”
James Hanson’s ninth goal of the season saw off Darlington, although there were a few nerves jangling against the division’s basement club.
Taylor admitted: “On chances we deserved to win but it was a nervous performance. Darlington didn’t look a bottom of the table side to me.
“Maybe good teams when they get good chances regularly take the goals. We weren’t capable of doing that but we were nearly there and a lot of things were positive.
“I’m so pleased that James got the goal because he’s earned it for his workrate for the team.
“He was probably the culprit where we should have scored before we did but fair play to him. He missed two sitters in the last two matches but kept going and I thought he played well.”
Hanson partnered new loan signing Mark McCammon, who featured for an hour. The Gillingham striker, starting his first game since November, took a whack in the face from defender Alan White but Taylor had already planned to substitute him early.
Taylor said: “I think it might have helped James a little bit, having another big one there. Mark needs a few more matches as well but I’m quite pleased with them as a pair.”
After starting off his reign with trips to Accrington and Rochdale, it was Taylor’s first experience of the Valley Parade faithful.
He said: “They were great and I’d like to give them a bit more. I’m sure they had a very nervous afternoon but that’s normal for a season-ticket holder, unless you’re at Man United.
“The players did well and hopefully we can get a few more wins for these supporters.
“We’ve got Aldershot tomorrow and they’ll be feeling quite pleased with themselves after beating Chesterfield. They are a very organised and sharp team but we’ll be ready.”
