Farsley Celtic face the difficult trip to Nicky Law’s Alfreton Town in the Blue Square North on Saturday but Celts manager Neil Parsley is looking forward to crossing swords again with the former Bantams boss.
A run of difficult games had the Celts marooned on 28 points but they put an end to their three-game drought with a maximum at Stalybridge Celtic in midweek.
Farsley would be just six points behind their fourth-placed hosts had they not incurred the ten-point penalty for entering administration.
Parsley said: “It will be a tough game because Alf-reton are bang in form but if we perform to the level we achieved at Stalybridge on Tuesday we can get something from the game.
“I was very pleased with the result and performance and I felt it was a deserved win for us, all things considered.
“It was much better than our last away game.
“That was at Hyde United and I picked not so much the wrong team but the wrong tactics.
“Last Saturday, at home to second-placed Southport, we all got it right and definitely deserved more than the narrow defeat we ended up with.
“There were positives from that game and we certainly built on those by getting the win on Tuesday.”
The Farsley boss has no new injury concerns but left back Ryan Serrant is still rated as doubtful with a hamstring injury.
Former Bradford City youngster Patrece Libird is available on Saturday before a four-game ban begins for his sending-off at Hyde.
