Father and son Gary and Mark Weighman won the first Bradford Winter Alliance event of the year at Calverley. Plus-two handicapper Mark and Gary, off 13, won with 41 points on a countback from West Bradford’s Tracy Dadd and Dale Brook.
Other leading placings: 3 Chris Hughes & John Whiteley (both Bradford) 40pts, 4 Warren Kemp (West Bradford) & Steve Waddington (Silsden) 40, 5 James Kelly (Northcliffe) & Gary Meehan (West Bradford) 40. Kemp and Chris Brown (Bradford) shared the top professional prize with 36 points.
