We were massively disappointed not to get the win at Huddersfield last week because we’d gone into the game full of confidence.
Nobody likes losing and I’m the worst loser in the world, so we took it pretty hard at first.
We know there’s plenty we have to work on but there were positives to take from the game as well.
We looked rusty in areas but hopefully we can put that right.
There have been major changes in key positions so we’ll gel as we continue to play with each other.
The more hours you put in, the more it’s going to benefit you.
Everyone’s raring to go on Sunday. It’s our first game of the season at Odsal and it’s always exciting to be back there in front of our own fans.
It should be a cracking game against Saints, they’re usually pretty tight, so we need our fans to get right behind us and give us a boost.
After the mystery of the yoghurt thief last week, more of Andy Senior’s items went missing.
He was almost at breaking point, so one of the lads grassed up the two culprits. It all came out in the wash and it turns out it was Andy Lynch and Dave Halley.
But we won’t tolerate people grassing on team-mates so we called a meeting and told everyone they would be fined £100 unless the grass owned up.
Eventually Andy Tate owned up and the poor lad was almost in tears, he didn’t realise we’d been winding him up.
But the funniest thing was that Sykesy wasn’t in on the gag either so when he heard we were going to be fined, he hit the roof.
I’ve never seen anyone so angry but luckily he’s calmed down now.
