City rivals Liversedge were matching Thackley point for point at the start of November in the Kool Sport Northern Counties East League Premier Division but have faltered since.
They have home advantage over Arnold Town on Saturday but are playing catch-up with the President’s Cup finalists, even though they themselves are a lowly seventh.
