Disability football in Bradford will receive a huge lift in the next three years following funding from Every Player Counts, a project of the Football League Trust supported by the New Football Pools and a unique partnership between the West Riding County Football Association, Bradford City FC, Leeds United FC and Huddersfield Town FC.
Minister for Sport and Bradford South MP Gerry Sutcliffe attended the official launch at the Bradford City Museum on Monday.
James Doyle, the West Riding CFA Disability Football Development Officer, said: “The additional funding will not only allow us to strengthen the current activity, but develop new activities and engage with new players.”
