Farsley Celtic manager Neil Parsley hopes to have striker Gareth Grant back as his side chase a third straight league victory at home to Gloucester City on Saturday.
The return of the former Bantams player will boost the Celts as they aim to bounce back from their West Riding Cup exit to Garforth Town in midweek.
Parsley said: “Granty has done well for me this season and last and it will be a big plus to get him back.
“He injured his ribs in our first game back after the break at Fleetwood Town.
“He managed to play the following game at home to Northwich Victoria but was struggling and hasn’t played since.”
Parsley picked a strong team at UniBond Division One North Garforth in Tuesday’s disappointing 1-0 defeat.
He said: “I expected the side I selected to progress and they would have if they had performed at their best but we ended up losing to a penalty four minutes from time because we were off it on the night.”
While the focus remains consolidating their Blue Square North status, Parsley admitted he was keen to progress in the knockout event.
He said: “It was not the top of our priorities but it was a competition we wanted to do well in.
“It represented our last chance of silverware this season really and also, we all know how positive results breed confidence.”
