Bradford Dudley Hill are anticipating a huge turnout of present and former players when they host a 30th anniversary celebration at Parry Lane on Saturday, December 19.
The landmark commemorates the relocation of the club from the De Lacy public house on Tong Street and the subsequent opening of the Neil Hunt Memorial Ground on September 1, 1997.
The ground was named following the death of Neil Hunt after an under-16 game against Sedbergh Boys’ Club the previous October. Neil died of pneumonia following a snapped spinal cord.
Hill have since established themselves as one of the major amateur sides in the country, winning numerous titles, including the BARLA National Cup in 1984 at Blackpool.
