Farsley Celtic 2, Burton Albion 2 (after extra time, Burton win 3-2 on penalties)
Farsley’s replay at home to Burton Albion in the FA Trophy went to penalties before the Blue Square Premier leaders edged through to the second round.
Nigel Clough’s side went in front in the 15th minute through Jody Banim when his 30-yard shot went in off the post.
The Celts drew level before the break though, Andy Campbell scoring from the spot after being brought down himself.
Former Bantam Craig Bentham scored his first goal of the season to put Farsley ahead in the second half but Banim netted Burton’s equaliser within seconds.
Banim had his penalty saved in the shoot-out but three of his team-mates netted while the Celts failed to convert three of their five spot-kicks, with only Jake Speight and Dominic Krief successful.
