Worsborough Bridge Athletic 4, Brighouse Town 1
Brighouse dropped to 15th in the 19-strong Kool Sport NCE League Division One when they came off second best in their six-point clash with Worsborough Bridge Athletic.
The hosts leapfrogged Brighouse courtesy of their comfortable victory and are now one point better off, despite having played two games less at this stage.
Worsborough opened the scoring early as Ryan Pleasants broke the deadlock in only the tenth minute.
They were further ahead by the break after Lee Poskitt doubled their lead midway through the first half.
Karl Amos pegged the home side back with a goal for Town just after the hour mark.
But late strikes from Ryan Poskitt and Dean Shirt ensured all three points were remaining with Worsborough.
