On Parade - with John Hendrie
It was assessment night last week for all the young lads in the age-group teams.
The coaches give them a bit of advice and tell them what they have been doing well so far this season and what areas of their game can be improved.
Myself and Ian Birchenall take the under-13s, so I had to assess not only my own lad but Stuart’s boy Craig.
It felt a bit funny talking to him while the manager is sat there as well. But I told Craig to keep working on his left foot – and get his dad to do the same because his left was never the best!
I also gave him a bit of advice about his haircut and told him not to copy the same style his dad’s had for the past 20 years!
