Stuart McCall has moved to strengthen his squad by bringing young defender TJ Moncur back to City from Fulham.
The rookie full back or centre half spent two months on loan at Valley Parade last season and impressed McCall during his stay.
Moncur signed a new one-year deal at Craven Cottage in June, partly on the strength of his performances with City.
But Fulham have allowed him to return again on loan, City signing him initially until January 3 with the option of then making the deal permanent.
Moncur has been brought in chiefly as a back-up for Paul Arnison at right back, the one area where there was no cover.
