Keighley Cougars have confirmed that the popular Jordie Hedges has returned to Cougar Park following a year in Super League with London Broncos.
Hedges, who previously worked at Cougars under Rhys Lovegrove and Matt Foster, will rejoin the coaching group for the 2025 season.
In a statement, Cougars said: “Jordie brings with him a wealth of detail and technical ability which will complement the existing coaching group at Keighley.
“His high standards and ability to communicate and deliver will be vital for success in the coming season.”
Hedges said: “I’ve got really great memories of my time at Keighley and I always thought I would be back.
“Having spent a year with Mike Eccles at London, I am coming back to Keighley with a full season of Super League under my belt.
“I am excited by the challenge ahead and getting this club back to Championship.
“I am looking forward to reacquainting myself with a few familiar faces as well as welcoming the new faces.
“I believe pre-season will be crucial to laying foundations and non-negotiables that will hold everyone accountable moving forward.”
“I am looking forward to working with (head coach) Jake Webster and having spoke to him at length about the style he wants to play, we have very similar ideas.”
The Cougars squad return to pre-season training on Tuesday, November 19.
