BULLS are mourning the death of popular former player Jack Bentley, who was still a regular at Odsal some 60 years after his first game for the club.
Jack made his debut for Bradford Northern way back in 1962 in a home match against Featherstone and went on to play and coach for Wyke ARLFC.
He was still a regular attendee at Odsal for games until recently, while he had also acted as a guest speaker at one of the club’s heritage lunches.
Jack had been unwell for a period of time, and had been sent messages by Bulls’ current first team wishing him the best of luck with his recovery.
There has been an outpouring of love for Jack on social media, with many fans sharing their stories of conversations with him during games at Odsal.
