YORKSHIRE head to Wales today, knowing their season could hinge on this week's result against Glamorgan.
The White Rose enjoyed a thumping innings win at Leicestershire last time out, which moved them up to second in Division Two of the Vitality County Championship.
The top two will go up at the end of the season, and Yorkshire are now 15 points ahead of third-placed Middlesex, who slipped up at Lord's last week with a four-wicket defeat against Gloucestershire.
If Yorkshire win at Glamorgan, and Middlesex fail to beat Derbyshire in their penultimate fixture, the White Rose will officially rubberstamp their return to the top flight, following relegation in 2022.
And after two away wins in a row, Yorkshire will fancy their chances at Sophia Gardens this week, especially given Glamorgan go into the game off the back of an innings defeat to leaders Sussex.
The game starts at 10:30am today, with Glamorgan having won the toss and elected to bowl.
Yorkshire's line up is as follows: Lyth, Bean, Wharton, Bairstow (wkt), Tattersall (c), Hill, Bess, Thompson, Fisher, Coad, Moriarty.
