THE Bradford Summer Cup is upon us once again with an exciting day of footballing action in store on Sunday.
The competition offers a number of local sides with the opportunity to get some much-needed gametime before the start of the new season.
Furthermore, the teams involved get a chance to play in a competitive tournament before the league campaign gets underway.
Two finals will be played out on Sunday, one for the ‘Championship’ stage of the competition and one for the ‘Premiership’ stage of the competition.
After navigating their way through the respective group stages and semi-finals, it’s Prospect Reserves FC and Red Lion FC who will face off in the Championship final with the match commencing at 11am on Sunday.
The fixture will take place at Campion’s 1st Glass UK Stadium and tickets are priced at £5 for 16+ year-olds, £3 for 11–15-year-olds and age 10-under can go free.
The pricing for the Premiership final remains the same, and it will be contested between Thackley Athletic FC and Bradford Moor at the Horsfall Stadium with the game kicking off at 4pm.
Muj Malik and 1st Glass UK have kindly sponsored the competition.
If you’re free this Sunday, make sure to get down to either or both of the fixtures for an entertaining day of footballing action.
