Bradford City’s U19s’ ‘A’ team have recently been involved in a three-way fight in the Community & Education Football Alliance.

They had been doing well this season, but have had mixed results in their final games, and looked to be just missing out on the Championship by just the one point, after Everton ‘A’ had earlier beaten fellow challengers Manchester City ‘B’ to take pole position.

However, the EFLCEFA have awarded the Bantams the points from their recent game with Everton, which means that they are officially the North Central Division champions — and the girls were honoured to collect their league trophy and winners’ medals at Wembley Stadium.

A few days earlier, Crystal Boyce received the LFE (League Football Education) Learner of the Term award, having excelled in all areas of her Community Trust Study Programme in recent months. On the pitch she plays as a wide forward, and is the top scorer for the ‘A’ team, scoring 21 goals in 13 starts.

And their newly-formed ‘B’ team finished a respectable fourth in the Small-sided (North) division. Grace Ross, top scorer with 7 goals in 5 starts, received four Player-of-the-match awards along the way.

A Bradford City U19 XI rounded off the season with a friendly fixture against a Bolton Wanderers XI at the Trotters’ main stadium.

Hannah Harrison, who plays for Bradford (Park Avenue), put in a great performance at the heart of defence, to earn the Player-of-the-match award. Unfortunately the entertaining end-to-end game ended in a 5–2 defeat for the Bantams, but it was a good experience to play at the home of the League One team.

In the West Riding County League, Ilkley Town Firsts have had a simply phenomenal season, and broken a number of club records on their way to the County First title, scoring 94 and conceding 16 goals, with Izzy Armstrong putting away 28 in 18 starts. In other awards, the Club Woman is Isabel Wilks, the Manager’s Player is Emily Reader-Harris, and the Players’ Player is shared by Izzy and Mary Armstrong.

Skipton Town Development have secured a second successive promotion, after the County Third table was finalised last week, and a good season has seen them only conceding 15 goals. They have already announced their individual prizes for the season, with top scorer Elly Field scoring 24 goals in 9 starts. Daniella Wildman was the Manager’s Player, and Raegan Percival was Captain’s Player and Players’ Player. Ngọc Hart was the Best u23 player, and Becca Brown & Harriet Brewer were the Club Players of the Year.

At Silsden Juniors’ Presentation night, trophies were awarded to Most Improved Player Anna Fryers; Club Player Gabby Whitham, and both Manager’s Player and Players’ Player Lola Cunningham; with special awards for Captain Fantastic Lilly Chattoe and Super Stopper Katie Elliott.

Brighouse Town Juniors’ end-of-season awards were: Manager’s Player Summer Hadwin; Most Improved Player Molly Shackleton and Players’ Player Lucy Webb, with Hannah Burgess gaining both the Supporters’ Player-of-the-year award and Top Scorer Award, her 57-goal haul also the top in the League.

Halifax FC have confirmed their Player-of-the-Season awards.

The top scorer (14) in all competitions is Ellie White, and Most Assists (15) in all competitions, Meg Boydell. The Young Player of the Year is Katie Ramsden, the Manager’s and Players’ Player is Izzy Dean, and Coaches’ Player is Monique Watson. And finally, the Player-of-the-year is the captain, Shauna Legge.

Their home ground for next season has yet to be announced, but their last FA National League game at Roxholme Road saw visitors AFC Fylde starting off strongly. However Drew Greene’s tap-in and Georgia Stevens’ header put the Eagles 2–0 in front at the break, as they went on to win 6–1 to secure 6th position in the Northern Premier Division
