A Bradford boxing star has collected a prestigious title to create more history for his local gym, Karmand ABC.
Bilal Siddique defeated Lewis Cocksey, of Jimmy Egans ABC, last Saturday at Derby Arena as he was crowned the Senior ABA National champion.
The victory was claimed by unanimous decision (under 48kg category) , and it has resulted in the Bradford talent being selected to take part in the GB squad assessment day, while he has also been picked to represent England in the GB Elite Three Nations tournament this summer.
He is one of the many National Champions to come out of Karmand ABC, and he is only the second to win a Senior ABA National title.
Siddique commented: "Big thank you to all the coaches at Karmand ABC, and we would like to dedicate this victory to former coach of Lights Out ABC, Inzy."
