FORMER City forward David Jackson has died at the age of 87.
Jackson played for the Bantams between 1955 and 1961, making 275 appearances and scoring 68 goals.
He was the twin brother of Peter, who had been born 10 minutes earlier, and both played for the club under their father, also named Peter.
David was City’s top scorer in 1957-1958 with 14 goals, including three in the FA Cup.
When their father was dismissed in March 1961, the brothers also left to sign for Tranmere.
Jackson's goals tally for City makes him joint 11th in the all-time scoring list - currently alongside Andy Cook.
