THE 37th annual Valley Parade Memorial Tournament will take place this weekend.
It will be held at the Marley Activities and Coaching Centre in Keighley.
Under 12 and Under 14 teams from Bradford City, Lincoln City and a host of local clubs will play along with a team from Hamm, twinned with Bradford, who are travelling across from Germany to participate once again.
The tournament has been held every year since 1986 to commemorate the 56 people who lost their lives in the fire disaster at Bradford City's Valley Parade ground during a match with Lincoln City FC on May 11, 1985.
This year the event will be held on Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31.
The tournament is organised by Bradford Council’s Community Sport and Activities Development Unit.
Games commence on the synthetic pitch at 9am on Saturday and 8.45am on Sunday at Marley, following a minute’s silence.
