A family is celebrating a triple success at a prestigious karate competition.
Three siblings, who train in the Bradford district and live in Huddersfield, won medals at the Chojinkai karate competition at the Penrith Leisure Centre, Cumbria.
Raef Edwards, 7, won Gold in his individual category, Noelle Edwards, 9, got Silver in her category and Blyss Edwards, 13, got Bronze in her individual category and Gold in teams.
The trio compete for the British Sport Karate Federation and train at NCAA in Silsden, which is enjoying great success and has competitors in the England team.
Coaches Paul Newby, who is also a British coach for the Olympics, and Frank Pullano were very pleased with the team and the result, making the long trip up to Cumbria well worthwhile.
It is the latest in a string of success stories for the Edwards family, with Blyss having won gold in Birmingham at the Junior Karate Commonwealth Games.
