Keighley potting ace Chris Melling was on song during last season's Ultimate Pool Pro Series, and he gets his campaign underway in this year's competition this evening.
Melling will enter the tournament this evening, with his last-64 opener taking place on the main table.
He won events two and 10 last season, taking a fifth off all the Ultimate Pool Pro Series crowns on offer in 2023.
There are five Pro Series weekends every year in Blackpool, so Melling will have chance two chances to claim tournament glory this weekend, in events one and two.
Bradford pool star Karl Boyes is also in action, he begins his campaign a round earlier, with his last-128 clash against Ryan Fleming coming this afternoon.
