Pudsey A are closing in on the Bradford & District Sunday School Billiards League title after making a decisive move in the title race.
They emphatically won away to nearest challengers Bradford Deaf Centre B 5-0 to take a commanding seven-point lead at the summit with two games to go.
As if it could not get any better for them, third-placed Deaf Centre A also lost heavily, going down 4-1 to Pudsey B.
Princeville D, who were fourth, beat Princeville C 4 -1, to leave all three challengers level in joint-second, but needing a monumental comeback to try and snatch the title out of the grasp of Pudsey A.
In the penultimate round of fixtures, Pudsey A meet Princeville D, while the two Deaf Centre teams visit Princeville, with their opponents Princeville A and C well out of the running and just fighting, along with Pudsey B, to avoid finishing rock-bottom.
