Pudsey A have retained leadership of the Bradford & District Sunday School Billiards League table, after the narrowest of 3-2 victories over in-form Princeville A.
The three individual games in the match were settled by just five, nine and one points respectively, and with the largest win, Princeville also took the aggregate point on the night by three.
The two Bradford Deaf Centre teams remain very much in contention, with the A team recording a 5-0 victory over Princeville B to go just three points behind Pudsey A, and the B team beating Princeville D 4-1 to move just two points off the summit.
Princeville D's prospects have therefore diminished somewhat, as they are now six points behind the leaders with only three rounds of fixtures remaining.
In the next set of fixtures, the top two teams meet at the Deaf Centre, in a late-season game that could go a long way towards deciding the destination of the title.
