BRADFORD & DISTRICT SUNDAY SCHOOL BILLIARDS LEAGUE
Pudsey A have resumed outright leadership of the Bradford & District Sunday School Billiards League table, after winning the Pudsey derby 4-1, with the B team's only point coming in the last game of the night.
Joint-leaders Princeville D were out of luck and out of fotm against Princeville B, losing 5-0, while the points at the Bradford Deaf Centre were more evenly divided, with the A team beating the B team 3-2 to leave both teams in title contention still.
Pudsey A are now three points clear at the summit, with the next three teams separated by only two points.
Elsewhere, Princeville A continued their unbeaten post-Christmas run by beating Princeville C 4-1, but at 10 points adrift of the leaders, it looks as if the gap may be too big for them to bridge, with only four fixtures remaining.
Their credentials will certainly be tested when they visit the league leaders in the next round of fixtures.
