THE first event of the calendar year is underway in Ultimate Pool, but Keighley duo Chris Melling and Arfan Dad face a long wait to get their campaigns going.
The Champions League competition got underway last week on TNT Sports, a huge broadcasting coup for the circuit.
And fans have been treated to some real entertainment so far, with two of Ultimate Pool's top players making it through so far in Tom Cousins and Conor Treacy.
They have already booked their spots in the last-16 therefore, but with 14 more groups still to play, they have a long wait before they return to action in the competition.
As for Keighley duo Melling and Dad, their groups take place on consecutive weeks.
Melling gets going first, with the former world champion part of Group 9, which takes place on Monday, March 4.
He will be vying with Tom Ford, Chris Day and Adam Bassoo to make it through to the next round.
Dad has been drawn in Group 10, where he will face Neil Raybone, Gary Clarke and the winner of a qualifier between Kristi Caulfield and Ryan Fleming.
That group will be played out on Monday, March 11.
