CHRIS Melling is back in the UK after months of playing tournaments around the world.
And there is no rest for the 44-year-old, as he takes part in the final Ultimate Pool Pro Series events of the year this weekend.
Both Melling and his fellow Keighley native Arfan Dad will be in action at the Grand Hotel in Blackpool, entering at the last-64 stage following today’s preliminary round.
Melling knows he will be facing Jimmy Carney in his opener, while Dad’s opponent will be the winner of the preliminary match between Eddie Barker and Callum Singleton.
Both Keighley men have made Pro Series finals this season, with Melling winning Event Two and losing out in the Event Seven showpiece to Stevie Dempsey.
Dad made it through the Event Five final, but he was beaten by Dempsey in that too.
