ANOTHER top snooker star is coming to town next month, and around 20 tickets are still available.
Shaun Murphy, who won the World Snooker Championship in 2005 and has 12 ranking titles to his name, is heading to The Saltaire Bar in Shipley for an exhibition on Friday, October 20.
The event has been organised by Gilstead snooker promoter Keith Walker and will be compered by Chris Lovell.
Walker welcomed snooker legend John Higgins to The Saltaire Bar back in March, where the Scot produced a sensational 147 to the delight of those in attendance.
The night with Murphy will follow the same format as the one with Higgins, where the snooker pro will play 10 frames against the attending public, with his final frame opponent being drawn out of a raffle.
There will then be a Q&A session with Murphy at the end of the night.
