DEAN Harrison heads to Thruxton today for the latest round of the British Superbikes Championship, following a strong showing at the Race of Legends.
Bradford rider Harrison spoke to the T&A last month after the tragic cancellation of the Southern 100 following the deaths of a rider and a marshal.
Asked what was coming up next for him, he made special mention of the Race of Legends, a road race event which takes place in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Harrison was unable to take victory, but secured third place in his first race at the event on the Friday, in the Supersport class.
He followed that up with a pair of fifths in Supersport and Superbike races on the Saturday, before rounding off his weekend with fourth in the main Race of Legends.
The Bradfordian is back on track now at Thruxton, looking to build on the 26 points he has accrued so far in the Superbikes Championship, already a vast improvement on the eight he picked up last year.
There are four rounds to go after Thruxton in this year's calendar.
