There were not many games in Division One of the Aire-Wharfe League, but Saltaire and Tong Park Esholt both did play, and both lost.
Third place now looks the most realistic possibility for Saltaire this season, with Collingham & Linton leading the table by a mile and Otley second by a distance.
The latter increased that gap by winning a thrilling clash with Saltaire on Saturday.
In a game reduced to 20 overs per side at Cross Green, the visitors posted a challenging 164-7, as keeper Bilal Hamid hit a superb 84 from only 47 balls.
Otley were in big trouble at 67-4 in their chase, but eventually scrambled over the line by three wickets, with three balls to spare.
Mustahsan Ali Shah was the pick of the Saltaire bowlers with 3-36.
Tong Park are now just a point above the drop, after they lost by 48 runs at home to Burley-in-Wharfedale and relegation rivals Addingham stunned leaders Collingham & Linton.
With captain Dave Hester taking 4-52, Esholt were left chasing a total of 192-9 from 27 overs.
But despite Josh Bennett scoring a quickfire 50 and opener Riley Vernon making 38, the hosts fell well short, posting 144-9.
Waddilove Cup finalists Steeton are looking good in second in Division Two, after they thrashed Olicanian by eight wickets.
But Bolton Villas’ game with Bardsey was cancelled, and they could do with a couple more wins to ease any lingering relegation fears.
In Division Three, fourth-placed Thackley’s game with Horsforth was also called off, but Harden are now storming clear at the summit, after they thrashed Skipton by 97 runs.
Finally, Bingley Congs’ Division Four title hopes took a hit, as they lost by five wickets to the new leaders, Tong Park’s second XI, by five wickets.
Congs were bowled out for 204 at Beckfoot Lane, despite an enterprising 63 in the middle order from Chris Dibb.
Smart and patient batting saw the visitors over the line, with Matt Roberts the best of the home bowlers with 2-50.
