LEEDS & DISTRICT
The result of the last match at Moor Monkton Pools saw P. Carter win with 107lb 10oz.
S. Smith finished second with 95lb 7oz, while S. Willis ended up third with 93lb 1oz.
The Tuesday open match at Kippax Park saw M. Dickinson win with 51lb 11oz, with T. Hewson just behind in second on 51lb 9oz. A. Sunter finished third with 34lb 15oz.
The match on the River Wharfe was won by T. Parr with 16lb 8oz. J. Mathers finished second with 9lb 6oz, while S. Wilson came third with 6lb 15oz.
LISTERHILLS
It has been reported that a number of anglers are fishing the Leeds-Liverpool Canal without a valid permit. This practice must cease.
Only a few decent fish have been caught. This is a cause for concern.
