CITY of Bradford’s Sam Naylor produced some excellent performances to win a National title and two silver medals at The British Masters Championships held in Sheffield from 2-4 June.
His gold medal and national title came in 18/24 years 200m freestyle event in a time of 2.03.52.
Following on from his success in the freestyle event Naylor came in silver medal position in the 400m individual medley and 200m butterfly in times of 5.01.17 and 2.19.000 respectively.
He then went on to place fourth and just outside the medals in the 100m freestyle in a time of 56.20.
On June 4, Gabriel Medd led the field in the Aquasphere Epic Lakes Swim Open Water event held at Ullswater. Over the 3.8 km event he finished second male and third overall in time of 51 minutes 45 seconds.
Rebecca Dunn swam in the one mile event finishing fifth female and eleventh overall in a time of 22.47.
Sister Alex claimed ninth female and fifteenth overall in the same event in a time of 23.28 and Imogen Tiffany placed eighth female and fourteenth overall in a time of 22.51.
In the 500m event Jade Buxton finished thirty seventh overall in a time of 11.47.
Paul Tiffany swimming in the one mile event placed nineteenth overall and third veteran in a time 23.28.
All the above swimmers train with Bradford Aquatics Competition Programme under the guidance of Andy Pearce and Sarah Fisher.
