SEVERAL of our Bradford football clubs will be coming up against a familiar foe in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division next season.
Goole were officially relegated to Division One on the final day after losing 5-0 at Silsden, but the East Yorkshire side have been handed a reprieve.
Hemsworth Miners Welfare had a good year on the field, coming eighth in the NCEL Premier Division, but off it, they had ground grading issues looming over them.
And earlier this week, the FA confirmed that Hemsworth had been demoted because of those problems, meaning Goole keep their place in the division.
As for what that means for the shake-up, only rock-bottom Yorkshire Amateur went down to Division One, while Hemsworth will now play in the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League.
With Goole a straight swap for Hemsworth, there will be 20 teams, including Silsden, Albion Sports, Thackley, Eccleshill United and Campion in the Premier Division.
But there will be no replacement team in Division One, which will run with 23 teams instead of the initially-proposed 24.
