KEIGHLEY Cougars have suffered a major blow, with in-form full-back Lewis Young ruled out for at least the next 10 weeks.
The former Newcastle Thunder man injured his ankle in Cougars' Betfred Championship win at Whitehaven last weekend, and needs surgery as a result.
Cougars head coach Rhys Lovegrove told the club website: “He’s been to see the specialist this week and will need surgery.
“Any loss to a squad of our size is massive and Lewis has done well.
“He has featured in every game so far this season and you can see he’s grown in confidence and is growing within our systems.”
