SOPHIE Thackray has claimed another top-10 finish in a national cyclo-cross event.
The 23-year-old from Eldwick, currently representing Paul Milnes Bradford while she waits to hear if she has a road racing contract with CAMS-Basso, was sixth in the women’s race at the National Championships at the Westmorland County Showground.
She finished in 40 minutes, 22.5 seconds to back up her top-10 effort in the final round of the National Trophy at Barnoldswick before Christmas.
Her dad Robert, also riding for Paul Milnes, was seventh in the men’s 45 race in Cumbria in 50 minutes, 52.5 seconds.
