BRADFORD (Park Avenue)'s home game with Scarborough Athletic at Horsfall tonight has been called off following a pitch inspection this afternoon.

Snow and ice on the pitch, as well as around the ground, meant the referee deemed it unsafe for the National League North game to go ahead.

It means, for now, Avenue remain just three points above the relegation zone, while high-flying Scarborough miss out on the chance to potentially claim another victory, which would have moved them up from fifth to second in the table.

A new date for the game will be announced in due course, with Avenue now not scheduled to play until this Saturday's league game at mid-table Kidderminster Harriers.
