WEATHER conditions at Dob Park last Sunday failed to deter eighty eight riders from competing in the Renee Smiths' Members Only charity trial.
The venue underwent an almost continued deluge from start to finish. A dozen stalwarts observed at the twelve woodland section. Mike Hinch was in charge of the Small Wheels entry but after two hours of heavy rain Mike called time on the class.
East Keswick teenager Harry Hemingway shrugged of the weather and signed off with a mere three penalties on his card to beat his younger brother George with six penalties to spare. John Bannister and Phillip Hammond won the Clubman A and B classes. After their ordeal in woods all five youngster signed off. Jacob Smith and Josh Phillips signed off as joint winners with incurring a single penalty
