GOING into the Christmas break, Bradford Deaf Centre B remain two points clear at the top of the Bradford & District Sunday School Billiards League.
They managed to hang onto their slender lead this week with a closely-fought 2-2 draw with Princeville B.
Heading into the final game, there was everything to play for.
Ihjaz Hussain (Deaf Centre) managed to beat the league secretary Stephen Kershaw by just five points, but this still left them four points short of an aggregate win and hence they had to settle for a 2-2 scoreline.
Elsewhere, Pudsey B have picked up six points out of eight in their last two fixtures and now sit second.
This week they defeated Princeville A 4-0, with a star performance from Richard Bowes, who had huge breaks of 70 and 65
